The band was formed due to a love of psychedelic music. They play original songs as well as cover songs by  Pink Floyd, The Small Faces, The Who, The Seeds, Steve Hillage, The Doors, The Kinks and many other bands.

Above : Patrick Campbell-Lyons of Nirvana UK gave us the name St Johns Wood Affair.

I was speaking to  our friend Patrick Campbell-Lyons (of Nirvana UK) on the telephone. I told him I couldn't think of a name for the band we were getting together. We talked about the kind of music we both love, out of the blue Patrick said "St Johns Wood Affair". It's the last track on one of my favourite albums, ALL OF US by NIRVANA.....................it just seemed sooooooooooooo right!

Thank you Patrick.
